Description

BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS! We are dead set on returning the Guinness World Record Zombie Gathering title back to Seattle in 2015 and WANT YOU to join us! Why? Why the %$#@! not? Let's raise the dead and have one helluva good time and ensure that this tradition stays shambling for years to come. Meet new people, see old friends and shamble as a city together and raise a little hell and watch a great Zombie movie!

WHO'S ORGANIZING?

The same team that started it all and helped to coin the Zombie Capitol of the World right here in the great Northwest. Ryan Reiter and his team at Piranha Blonde Interactive, who brought you ZomBcon that hosted some of the biggets horror names like Bruce Campbell, George A. Romero, Max Brooks, Sid Haig and Norman Reedus are hoping to secure 10,000 pre-sold tickets to make this a big event once again and bring you the largest undead experience in the world.

WHY ISN'T IT FREE? I'VE BEEN TO ZOMBIE WALKS THAT COST NOTHING.

We hear you and wish that big events were supported by big sponsors and required no pre-production before the event. However, the City of seattle has required us to produce this event both professionally and to City of Seattle code so that it is safe for all participants and attendees.

Great events take great fans to produce this event and we will do as mcub as we can to ensure you have a blast!

WHY BUY A PRE-SALE TICKET?

It's the largest bonafide zombie record ever, with Minnesota at 15,498 registered participants recorded. The largest we have done is a few thousand, so we will need more money to create more registrations booths.

If we don't reach the our goal of 10,000 pre-sold tickets by April 2nd, 2015, then we will refund all of the money and cancel the event we guarantee that! This is for the people, by the people and we want nothing else than to rep our Emerlad City in blood! We aren't expecting any big sponsors and an event like this costs thousands to produce. SHARE IT AND MAKE THIS YOUR EVENT AGAIN! BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS!!!!!

So the current record that still srticks is below and we have to beat this by 20,000 pepple next year and make a stand. We will hire and ensure that Guinness World Records is on site if we surpass the 9,593 people it takes to raise the dead.

LOCATION? WHERE WILL IT BE?

Well that will be decided in the coming months and our hope is to keep it in Seattle and make this a destination that is convenient and affordable for all!

WHAT COMES WITH MY $10 TICKET?

Great question! We want you to get the most bang for your buck and have a amazing time. It costs about $6,000 just to hire the Guinness World Record Officiant to fly in and judge the event, plus permits, insurance and cleaning up after impact of having 15,000 + undead fans

  • 2015 Zombie Walk Guinness World Record Official Registration
  • Screening of Shaun of the Dead
  • Collector's Edition Lanyard and Event Pass
  • The Ultimate Zombie fan experience with over 15,000 undead shambling around.

Some can also get a limited edition killer t-shirt for a little bit more.

WHAT WILL BE THERE?

If we can get the ticket supportn of 10,000 pre-sold, then we will look for a speical guest of honor to lead the walk. In year's past, we have hosted Bruce Campbell, Norman Reedus, Sid Huag, George A. Romero and many others. Buy your ticket and find out! Let's get 20,000 people through the door and kepe the world!

CURRENT RECORD ACCORDING TO GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS
